Eligibility: Applicants must have been born in or have a natural parent who was born in either Mexico or Spain, or a Hispanic country of the Caribbean, Central or South America, regardless of race. Students must plan to attend Florida public or eligible private institutions as undergraduate or graduate students, but graduating high school seniors get preference.

Purpose: To aid students who are preparing for careers in commercial floriculture.
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited four-year institution in the U.S. or at a community college located in California and be rising undergraduate sophomores, juniors or seniors. They must be majoring in a floriculture-related subject and be planning to pursue a career in domestic floriculture in the U.S. after graduation. Selection is based on academic merit, character, work experience and financial need.
